Background:
My India initiative is inspired from Government of India myGOV initiative. The goal of My India initiative is to let children (4-18 years of age) participate in nation building process. Hence, we have identified certain topics from myGOV initiative and introduced some new topics (aka themes) that the children can co-relate and contribute, as these topics are present in their school curriculum. This way it helps the children to understand the applicability of concepts which are part of their school curriculum (like Pollution, Soil Conservation, Deforestation, Garbage etc) along with improving their linguistic skills, creativity and collaboration skills.
